The 9th of the Ethics and Compliance Managers Platform Hidiv Meetings was held on March 16, 2016 with the presentation “Indispensable Factor of Ethics and Compliance Programs: Conflicts of Interest” Altuğ Özgün, the Ethics and Compliance Director of Astellas Pharma, and Gökçe Türkoğlu, Legal and Compliance Director of Marsh Türkiye.
Conflicts of interest are the most misunderstood and most difficult to detect and define by company executives and employees. Identifying and managing employees’ conflicts of interest in international companies is one of the indispensable factors of an effective Ethics and Compliance program.
We discussed the role of conflicts of interest in Ethics and Compliance programs of international companies, which are frequently discussed in politics in recent years, in an interactive way and by giving examples.
Thanks again for intense interest of our participants.
